In my current role as Vice President at Parallax, I often find myself introducing me in various settings, from face-to-face events to Zoom meetings.
I’ve also noticed an uptick in LinkedIn searches and people seeking information about me in general. When I Googled myself, I couldn’t find any relevant information.
About 25 years ago, I had an online presence as an instructor for one of the first Robotics courses in Latin America (Curso de Robotica in Argentina during the late 90s).
Later on, I shifted to working at Parallax Inc, where I translated educational material into Spanish, taught Educator’s courses in the US and abroad, and managed the Education and Tech Support departments.
However, the need to reduce material costs for our educational customers led me down a different path. I became deeply involved in improving contract manufacturing conditions to maintain the quality of our educational products while cutting costs. We even offered contract manufacturing services to smaller companies aiming to stay competitive. Yet, contract manufacturing, involving making products for different customers, is a highly confidential business. Consequently, my online presence dwindled.
Now that I’m back at Parallax, I’ve decided to create this straightforward website to share some basic information, starting with details from my current CV.
Over time, I’ll be adding posts about projects or various jobs I’ve had throughout the years.
Additionally, I plan to include information about positions I’ve held over the last 20 years, such as volunteer firefighter, beekeeper, non-profit board member, and more.
